1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TellTales application ("App") or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use TellTales.
2. Eligibility
TellTales is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian consenting to these terms on behalf of your child.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Supervising your child's use of TellTales
4. Subscription & Free Tier
TellTales offers a free tier with access to selected stories. Premium subscriptions unlock the full library. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play and are subject to their respective refund policies.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
5. Content Licence
All stories, audio narrations, illustrations, and other content within TellTales are owned by or licensed to TellTales. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and enjoy this content for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any TellTales content without express written permission.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use TellTales for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer any content or technology
- Share your account with others outside your household
- Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
7. Intellectual Property
The TellTales name, logo, and all associated intellectual property are owned by TellTales. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
TellTales is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TellTales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
